BASED ON THE STORY BY MARGERY WILLIAMS

THE VELVETEEN RABBIT

Adapted and written for the stage by JOEL KAISER

Directed by Joel Kaiser

"WHEN a child loves you for a long, long time...then you become Real!"

So says the Horse to the Velveteen Rabbit in Margery Williams' beloved classic. A stuffed toy rabbit, given as a gift to a young child, yearns for the day the child will choose it as his special playmate, so that it can become real. Through love, devotion and a little bit of magic, it not only becomes a truly beloved toy, but is miraculously transformed into a real woodland rabbit. Or at least, into a wise cracking, singing, dancing rabbit that brings new meaning to the phrase triple threat.

Join us for a fast paced, entertaining production that brings theatrical magic and musical fun to the stage. Touring Players Theatre brings to life this charming tale of love and devotion with a delightful twist, creating an unforgettable theatrical experience for every child.
